HE the prime minister of the Sudan Dr. Abdullah Hamdok met in the Council of Saudi chambers with the Saudi investors and businessmen on Monday 7 October 2019 with the presence of Eng. Abdul Rahman AL Fadly the minster of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Mr. Ahmad Kattan, the minister of state for African Affairs ambassador Mr. Medani Abbas Medani the minister of commerce and Industry of Sudan, Dr. Ibrahim AL Badawi the minister of Finance of Sudan with the presence of the chairman of the Saudi Chambers, the Saudi ambassador to Sudan and a number of officials. The meeting discussed the bilateral relations between Sudan and KSA and how these relations are strategic, HE Dr. Hamdok talked about the drastic changes that the new government of Sudan is working on, and the efforts to create an attractive environment for foreign investment. He stated that Sudan is looking forward for the cooperation in the fields of Agriculture, Industry, Infrastructure and Energy. Eng. Abdul Rahman AL Fadly the Saudi minster of Environment, Water and Agriculture also added that there is a need to redouble the efforts to encourage the investment environment to take advantage of the expansion requirements of the international markets. At the end of the meeting, Dr. Hamdok expressed his thanks to the RAII company and the initiative of Sheikh Sulieman Al Rajhi and the delegation of the company for visiting Sudan and met with him, the ministers and other officials for the presentations about the company achievements, the existent projects and the aspirations of the Saudi investors.
